Chief Financial Officer

Vinay Shah was named Chief Financial Officer in November 2024. Mr. Shah brings more than 20 years of financial management experience in the medical device and biopharmaceutical industries to our company.
Prior to joining our Company, Mr. Shah served as the Chief Financial Officer of Virpax Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: VRPX) from June 2023 until October 2024, as the Chief Financial Officer of Aravive, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARAV) from October 2018 until June 2022, and as the Chief Financial Officer of Aravive Biologics, Inc. from 2010 until October 2018, initially as a consultant and from 2017 as an employee, till its merger with Aravive, Inc in October 2018. From 2008 until 2016, he served in various positions at Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc. Before Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc., Mr. Shah worked for Cardinal Health’s medical device group in various finance management positions. His prior work experience includes positions at PwC and KPMG in India and the Middle East. Mr. Shah received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Ranchi University in India. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India and has an MBA from W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
